Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to inform that in spite of the prevailing economic world conditions, UNITECR 2009 has reached a new stage in its final preparation and become already a solid success. More than 240 complete papers have been received and reviewed by our Technical Board and are now part of the conference program. Authors and presenters are from different parts of the world, covering over 15 main stream technology applications and science topics. We have now 5 simultaneous sessions being programmed.
The success of this World Congress is the result of our authors and presenters commitment to networking and the advancement of the refractories, raw materials and application services. Strong support is also provided by our sponsors that represent a substantial share in the world´s top producers and suppliers. Our invited keynote speakers will bring the voice of the customer and will provide a thoughtful insight on the role of refractories in this global shifting world economy.
Registration is now available at our website. American Express, Master Card and Visa are the accepted credit cards and we would suggest you take advantage of the early registration reduced fees. Due to some unforeseen technical difficulties with the credit card security protocols and the need to adapt different systems to exchange information with our website server, we are extending the period for reduced fees. Please check the website for more details.
Hotel reservations at UNITECR 2009 Pestana Salvador Hotel are only available through the official travel agency Belvitur. We have blocked a number of rooms at the hotel, at special reduced rates for the congress participants. Please make sure that you have your reservations as soon as possible, due to the limited number of blocked rooms. If you are available to enjoy Salvador before or after the congress there are special extension rates available through Belvitur.
